Cinecittà becomes a click away and enters everyone’s homes: from December 1, 2020 to January 5, 2021, sets, memorabilia and museums will be revealed thanks to eleven video appointments.

The temple of Italian cinema opens its doors, accompanying the general public between locations and permanent exhibitions through virtual tours proposed for Cinecittà in a click and MIAC in a click, two cycles of digital narratives on cinema created and promoted by Istituto Luce Cinecittà, to make people discover the immense heritagecustodied in the Studios.

Every week, starting December 1, two video contents will be posted on the official social profiles of Cinecittà si Mostra, MIAC, and Istituto Luce Cinecittà revealing the wonders that can be visited at Cinecittà: every Tuesday the tours will tell about the halls and memorabilia of the Cinecittà si Mostra and Felliniana - Ferretti dreams of Fellini exhibitions; every Wednesday, on the other hand, will be dedicated to discovering the world of audiovisuals with visits to MIAC, the Italian Museum of theAudiovisual and Cinema that recounts 120 years of cinema, radio and television along an extraordinary path of film excerpts, archival footage, video installations, a multimedia and multisensory game involving faces, voices, stars and unforgettable stories that have made Italian cinema and audiovisual great.

The eleven appointments are designed for everyone and are narrated by museum mediators and special narrators ready to take on the roles of famous fairy tale characters, such as the Blue Fairy, and characters from ancient Rome to reveal the secrets of imperial Rome.

Brand new are in fact the educational contents dedicated to the Italian Museum of Audiovisual and Cinema, MIAC in a click: the educational department of Cinecittà si Mostra, in line with the initiatives thought up by the departments dedicated to education of the most important museum and exhibition institutions in the country, has thought up new contents to involve visitors and viewers of the network in virtual tours, narrated and told by its educators and museum operators in Italian and LIS.

The videos are not only virtual tours that take the visitor inside the Studios, but also focuses that constitute new chapters in a digital catalog that is constantly being updated to offer film buffs, visitors and the curious continuous appointments with entertainment, insight and trivia that are free and accessible online at any time.

Among the video narratives of Cinecittà si Mostra are a virtual tour dedicated to film costumes, a plunge into ancient Rome, a tour dedicated to Fellini’s imagery, a walk in the company of the Blue Fairy, and much more.
