The Museum of the Twentieth Century in Milan dedicates a new project to children: KITEDU900. It is a digital kit designed for elementary school as a tool for teaching and for families as a way to share an experience with young children.
The kit contains a visit to the Museo del Novecento through a short video that narrates ten masterpieces from the exhibition itinerary through narratives and images; a workshop inspired by Emilio Isgrò, the artist who created one of the works narrated in the video; and Museo chiama Scuola, a call that invites children to observe and narrate, through thirty ready-to-print cards, thirty masterpieces from the museum collection, including the ten works narrated in the video. The best comments will complete, with the name of the young authors and the school, the new UNDER 10 route curated by EDU900, which will be created in the exhibition halls in 2021.
KITEDU900 is a project of EDU900, the Museum’s Education Department, presented in collaboration with Stem in the City and with contributions from Studio Susanna Legrenzi and La Grande Fabbrica delle Parole. A tool to tell the story of the museum through digital and to allow visitors, especially young children, to familiarize themselves with the heritage.
