Venice's Gallerie dell'Accademia reopens with big news

The Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice will reopen to the public on Wednesday, April 28 (if the Veneto Region passes the yellow zone), and welcoming visitors on this occasion will be director Giulio Manieri Elia, who will accompany a limited number of people (maximum ten) on a 45-minute tour with reservations at the ticket office that morning.

The Gallerie dell’Accademia will be open to visitors on Mondays from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. (the ticket office closes one hour earlier), while on Saturdays and Sundays access will be allowed by reservation only(www.gallerieaccademia.it/biglietti), as per current government regulations. The return of the Palladian corridor will allow the reinstatement of visit circularity (also in anti-Covid function).
