Unesco World Heritage Medicean Villas can be visited again, with free admission and reservations required

Starting today, the Regional Museums Directorate of Tuscany will reopen to the public three of the UNESCO World Heritage Medici Villas: the Medici Garden and Villa of Cerreto Guidi and the Gardens of the Medici Villa of Castello and the Medici Villa of Petraia.

In compliance with all the safety regulations of the health emergency, the Villas will be accessible with free admission and by reservation only with a rich calendar of visits and narrative paths The Gardens of Bizarreness realized with the support of Unicoop Florence and in collaboration with Stazione Utopia. Narrative and sensory paths for children and thematic visits dedicated to gardens among history, art, architecture, landscape and botany. Upon request, visits can also be conducted in LIS.

In the Medici gardens, the Medici and later the Lorraine and Savoy families devoted themselves to their passions: art and patronage, life in nature and hunting, conviviality and decorative arts.
