The Global Fine Art Awards is the international art competition that since 2014 has rewarded the most innovative and significant exhibitions and cultural reviews of the year, through an international jury of curators and art historians. The aim of the award is to develop interest and passion for the fine arts and to promote their educational role in society.
The announcement of the nomination came in last night’s Facebook Live from Paris and New York, during which the 118 selected art events representing 6 continents, 31 countries and 68 cities around the world were presented.
The Forlì exhibition was nominated in the Best Ancient category, with the British Museum in London, the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya in Barcelona, and the Louvre in Abu Dhabi.
