Uffizi, special evening openings until 10 p.m.

On the four Tuesdays in September, the Uffizi offers special museum openings until 10 p.m.

Evening openings at the Uffizi Galleries: from September 7 to 28, every Tuesday it will be possible to visit the famous Florentine museum venue in the evening as well, until 10 p.m.

After the extraordinary Monday openings of Boboli, the Uffizi will open at extended hours, allowing visitors to stroll at dusk among the great masterpieces of art history and stop on the terrace for an aperitif overlooking the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio.

On the four Tuesdays in September, it will also be possible to see the museum from 7 to 10 p.m., arriving by 9 p.m. (last admission is one hour before closing). The ticket price is 20 euros (reservations are recommended at a cost of 4 euros: all information at https://www.uffizi.it/biglietti or at 055294883), the same for ordinary access to the museum provided during the annual high season.

“The number of visitors continues to increase,” commented the director of the Uffizi Galleries, Eike Schmidt, “and to meet the high demand, we are offering four evening openings to enable all interested and passionate people to admire the Uffizi masterpieces in a different light.”
