Planned security measures include the temporary suspension of services such as audioguides, checkroom and refreshment stand; however, the Museum Shop will remain regularly active. Tours led by an Egyptologist will be limited to a maximum of twelve people, and can be purchased exclusively online, choosing between two options: a 50-minute guided tour for 40 euros and a 90 mminute guided tour for 70 euros.
There will also be a thermoscanner and a mask requirement. Dispensers of sanitizing gel will be placed along the museum route. The rooms will have a quota capacity in compliance with the two-meter interpersonal distance.
