The Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, headquartered in the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino, is offering in anticipation of the reopening of the museums an online game in which all art lovers can participate. In collaboration with the association La Caccia al Teshorror, it is offering for three consecutive Fridays in December, starting on the 11th and continuing on the 18th and 25th, also at 9 p.m., the digital challenge The Secret Painting.
Each Friday, a detail of a painting from the Urbino museum will be posted on the Marche National Gallery’s Facebook page. Thus, the spirit of observation, visual memory, artistic culture and quick thinking will be tested.
The rules are very simple: the first participant who correctly indicates, by writing as a comment to the published image, both the name of the author and the title of the work to which the detail belongs, will win a free entrance ticket to the Ducal Palace in Urbino. Be careful, however, you will not be able to give several consecutive answers: after writing your answer you will have to wait at least for another contestant’s answer. If the correct answer is late in coming, hints may come from the organization. Only answers from accounts referring to individuals will be considered, which will still be verified when awarding the prize. In addition, you can only be a winner of one of the three scheduled challenges.
