The National Cinema Museum of Turin is looking for its Wednesday Addams with a special contest

The National Cinema Museum of Turin is launching a special contest in celebration of Carnival and as part of the major exhibition The World of Tim Burton: look for your Wednesday Addams.

As part of the major exhibition The World of Tim Burton, dedicated to one of the most beloved contemporary filmmakers, on view until April 7, 2024 at the National Cinema Museum in Turin, the museum based in the Mole Antonelliana is offering a special contest to look for ... his Wednesday.

In fact, on the occasion of Carnival, from Feb. 7 to 13, visitors will be able to try their hand at choreographing the dance of Wednesday Addams in the specially created space in the exhibition route, complete with spotlights and ad hoc background. They will be able to make a video here and share it on the National Cinema Museum’s social pages. The five performances that receive the most likes will be rewarded with an exclusive box that includes a selection of merchandise from the exhibition, and the most voted video will receive a one-year vip card that will give free access to the Museum’s spaces and Cinema Massimo.

“Carnival is the perfect opportunity to give our visitors the chance to try their hand at Wednesday’s dance, which has become one of the most popular trends on social media,” said National Cinema Museum president and director Enzo Ghigo and Domenico De Gaetano. “In recent months, many of the more than 280,000 people who have visited the exhibition were dressed like Tim Burton’s characters, so we thought that recreating this dance corner would give everyone the opportunity to feel, at least for a minute, Wednesday Addams. Then again, that’s the magic of Tim Burton’s world, too.”
