The Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte presents, on MiBACT’s YouTube channel, a preview of the exhibition Luca Giordano, from Nature to Painting, dedicated to the celebrated seventeenth-century Neapolitan painter.

Thelong film, enriched with art historical descriptions, also in English, presents an evocative story in images of the greatest and most prolific Neapolitan painter of the 17th century: a journey through the works of Luca Giordano, from the churches of Naples to the Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte.

The exhibition, desired by the director of the Neapolitan museum venue Sylvain Bellenger and curators Stefano Causa and Patrizia Piscitello, traces through a selection of about one hundred works, the styles and manners of the artist.
