Special openings at the Museum of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure

On Saturday, October 17 and Saturday, October 31, 2020, the Museo dell’Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence will extraordinarily open its doors to visitors in order to share with the public its excellence in the Florentine tradition of commesso in pietre dure.

The museum will be accessible from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 17 and from 7 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 31, and on both dates it will be possible to participate in guided tours by Opificio staff.

The days will be organized according to the following schedule:

- Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., guided tours of the Museum with reservations required, starting at 2:30 p.m.; 3 p.m.; 3:30 p.m.; 4 p.m.; 4:30 p.m.; 5 p.m.; 5:30 p.m.; 5:45 p.m.

- On Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 7-11 p.m., guided tours of the Museum with reservations required, beginning at 7:15 p.m.; 7:45 p.m.; 8:15 p.m.; 8:45 p.m.; 9:15 p.m.; 9:45 p.m.

Reservations will open on Monday, Oct. 12, for tours on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Monday, Oct. 26, for tours on Saturday, Oct. 31. Reservations for guided tours are compulsory and will be possible, while places are available, only through an online form (link on www.opificiodellepietredure.it). Successful booking will be confirmed by email. Due to the admission quota, it is possible to request a reservation for only one guided tour and for a maximum of four people. Guided tours will last approximately 45 minutes.

Fees: Full 4 euros, reduced 2 euros.
