Siena, extraordinary opening for the Facciatone del Duomo Nuovo: the city can be seen from above even in the early morning

From May 8 to Sept. 8, 2019, visitors to Siena will be able to see the city from above early in the morning thanks to the extraordinary opening of the Facciatone del Duomo Nuovo, the enormous facade of what would have been the Duomo’s extension, which was interrupted in the mid-14th century.
