The Corsini Gallery in Rome is making available to visitors two new services to facilitate their visit. The first new feature, available from January 8, is a free Wifi connection available in all the gallery rooms, and the second is a digital tablet guide available from January 11.
Produced in collaboration with the Glossa Consortium as part of the WeAct³ - Technology for Art, Culture, Tourism, Territory project promoted by theCivita Association, this guide is available in three languages (Italian, English and French) and aims to identify the works in the particular 18th-century setting commissioned by Cardinal Neri Maria Corsini, with paintings arranged on several levels without the usual captions.
Designed to be accessible to the widest possible audience, this guide presents a simple and intuitive interface that allows visitors to explore the history of the collections, the palace and the Corsini family, and at the same time to orient themselves among the rooms of the cardinal’s apartment and identify the more than three hundred paintings on display, fifty of which are accompanied by a specific in-depth study to learn more about their history and particularities.
For all information you can visit the official website of the Barberini Corsini National Galleries.
