Masterpieces of art history turned into stickers to be sent via Whatsapp. The Prado Museum has decided to continue its operation, which is to make works from its collection into a set of emoji for instant messaging programs that can be downloaded for free.
Works by Clara Peeters, Guido Reni and Hieronymus Bosch are incorporated into the Prado Museum’s sticker universe to “add new artistic resources to everyday conversations,” as the Spanish institution explains. There are images inspired by so many masterpieces, including Hieronymus Bosch’s The Extraction of the Stone of Madness, Goya’s Duel of Sticks, Raphael’s Portrait of a Cardinal, and Clara Peeters’ Still Life.
More than 360,000 followers of the Museum’s networks saw the launch tweet of the sticker collection that the Prado Museum has launched for free for IOS and Android: the emoji collection now has 30 stickers of the most emblematic works, adapting them to a friendly and accessible style for all audiences. They can be downloaded from the link https://sticker.ly/s/3N7K61
