Peggy Guggenheim Collection reopens June 2, but weekends only

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is preparing to welcome its visitors live again from June 2: on the occasion of the reopening day, the Venetian museum venue will be accessible free of charge from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with limited entry and by prior reservation to be made from May 22 to June 1 at 2 p.m., by calling +39 041 2405440 (Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) specifying the requested time slot or by writing to prenotazioni@guggenheim-venice.it again specifying the requested time slot.

Only the permanent collection will be open to the public, while the temporary exhibition Migrating Objects will remain set up but not accessible for the time being, pending verification of a possible opening date.

Beginning June 3, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., following the planned security measures: a maximum of 70 people present in the museum spaces at once, restricted access, recommended online ticket purchase (it is possible to purchase tickets on site but only with a credit or debit card), and regularly sanitized storage lockers on hand. In addition, both in the halls and in the outdoor spaces, i.e., in the garden and terrace, there is a mask requirement, hand sanitization through the appropriate dispensers and an interpersonal distance of at least one meter.

The Museum Café will not be accessible to the public.
