The #ioleggoacasa campaign with Fumetti nei Musei continues into this second week: every Sunday, in fact, six of the fifty-one albums in the series dedicated to learning about Italy’s museums and archaeological parks through illustrations by some of Italy’s best cartoonists are published. From Monday to Saturday, the week’s six albums are replicated individually on social media to make it possible for museums to get active with schools, students, and cartoonists to continue their educational paths.
Here are which cultural sites the comics of the week are dedicated to: Mausoleum of Theodoric in Ravenna by Giuseppe Palumbo; Central Institute for Restoration in Rome by Mariachiara Di Giorgio; Metauros Archaeological Museum in Gioia Tauro by Federico Manzone; Museum of Oriental Art in Venice by Marco Galli; Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica by Risuleo and Pronostico; and Reggia di Caserta by Maicol & Mirco. These are available at issuu.com/coconinopress.
The initiative is promoted by MiBACT in collaboration with the publishing house Coconino Press - Fandango.
