Give the Gift of Art to experience the initiatives of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection

With museums closed and Christmas just around the corner, we all need to surround ourselves with art and culture, even if we are still forced to experience them virtually. Gifting or giving yourself a Friend of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection card will allow you to take part in the museum’s many initiatives, such as the online art history course Art is Life and virtual visits to international exhibitions and collections. Giving the gift of art also means supporting it and guaranteeing, with a simple but fundamental gesture, the daily reopening of the Venetian museum venue, the planning of exhibition and educational programs and all free activities. Until December 31, 2020, you can give and gift yourself the membership card or renew it with a 30 percent discount.

If you decide to sign up for the Art is Life online course, you will receive the link to the lectures that have already taken place, and you will be able to book yourself for the second round of lectures starting on January 25, 2021.

When the cultural venues reopen again and it is possible to travel again, the Friend of the Collection card will provide free access not only to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, but also to the Guggenheim venues in New York and Bilbao, and other prestigious museums ofmodern and contemporary art in Italy, from MART in Rovereto to MAXXI in Rome, Fondazione Merz, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Castello di Rivoli in Turin to Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, Pirelli HangarBicocca and Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro in Milan.
