On the occasion of the April 25 bridge, the Gardens of the Reggia di Venaria are kicking off the Sundays of Play, the program of outdoor play activities and shows that will continue every Sunday and holiday until October. Reopening is the Fantacasino, the fairy-tale structure built for the enjoyment of adults and children with its wooden games, machines and animagics, enriched with new games.
On Sunday, April 24, the Rose Garden will become a theater for a puppet show, while on Monday, April 25, it will be the turn of the Peschiera, which will be populated with radio-controlled nautical models and sailboats, becoming the setting for a model boat show. Game and show activities will be rounded out with the La Freccia di Diana toy train, which will take the public along the Garden settings every half hour, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 to 6 p.m. Finally, as part of PLAY. Un anno tutto da giocare, the thematic program that Venaria Reale dedicates to play, the leisure and entertainment activities will continue in the ongoing exhibitions at the Halls of Arts: Dalle piazze alle Corti and Foto in Gioco!, two interconnected exhibitions that tell the story of the world of square games and outdoor entertainment from the 18th century to the birth of the modern entertainment industry.
On Saturday, April 23, Sunday, April 24 and Monday, April 25, the Reggia, exhibitions and Gardens will extend their opening hours until 7:30 p.m.
