From the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice to the Appia Antica: the six new comic books in the Museums

The week's six new albums in the Comics in Museums series take readers from the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice to the Appia Antica.

Like every Sunday for the past few weeks, six more albums in the Fumetti nei Musei series, dedicated to Italy’s museums and archaeological parks, are available today.

And like every week, illustrations by some of Italy ’s best cartoonists take readers to six different Italian cultural sites: Alice Socal at the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice, Miguel Angel Valdivia at the Archaeological Museum of the Campi Flegrei, Gud at the Appia Antica Archaeological Park, Marino Neri at the Gallerie Estensi in Modena, Manfredi Ciminale at the Museum of Civilizations in Rome, and LRNZ at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome. Available at issuu.com/coconinopress.

From Monday to Saturday, the week’s six albums are replicated individually and it is possible to browse and read them one at a time.

The initiative is promoted by MiBACT in collaboration with the publishing house Coconino Press - Fandango.
