Fortress of Bard: exhibition pills, unreleased videos and social campaign for all

The Fortress of Bard brings to its social channels the exhibitions set up in its halls: art pills, dedicated to some of the works in Masterpieces of the Johannesburg Art Gallery. From Impressionists to Picasso, and fact sheets on images from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, PhotoAnsa and On assignment, a wild life photography exhibitions.

“The intention is to offer a virtual cultural proposal that is an opportunity to deepen the current exhibition offerings of the Fortress, which is not now possible to enjoy,” said Forte di Bard director Maria Cristina Ronc. “To this is added another initiative also on our social channels, which we have called #alsoiosonoforte, in which we invite users to tell and share, in this difficult moment of emergency, stories and tales of their daily lives in which, as a fortress, they had to show strength and courage. A way to stay connected and create a network of sharing and solidarity.”

“It is important at this time of closure of all activities to keep more channels of communication with people back home turned on,” added Fortress of Bard President Ornella Badery. “We do this with videos, photographs, films that thus become opportunities for entertainment and culture. In parallel with the content on the exhibitions, we also publish on the Facebook page unpublished videos dedicated to the 15 Lower Aosta Valley municipalities that joined the Territory Project last year. We promote to the eyes of those at home, our artistic and natural beauty, to entice tourists to come and visit us as soon as general health conditions allow. We are strong and want to continue to be present in some way.”

In addition to the content dedicated to the exhibitions, unreleased videos dedicated to the area will then be shared on social media, and the #alsoiosonoforte campaign will be proposed, in which everyone is invited to participate.
