Colosseum Archaeological Park launches web series Star Walks with Rai Radio2

Innovating its relationship with the public, particularly the younger generation, the Colosseum Archaeological Park, with the support of Rai Radio2, is proposing an innovative and unique project: it is Star Walks - When PArCO meets music, a video web series, conceived and produced with the participation of leading musical artists, which aims to intrigue and bring the public closer through the storytelling and feelings of the musicians.

The format includes seven episodes, divided into two separate series: the first, featuring three real “star walks,” is scheduled for April and May. Each appointment will feature a musical guest walking inside the PArCo, interviewed by a Radio2 speaker and in the company of an archaeologist from the Colosseum Archaeological Park. The intention is to bring out the artists’ feelings and appreciations to offer a new and original dimension of the cultural context.

The first episode of the first series, titled The Zen Domus, was recorded on the Palatine Hill in the spaces of the Domus Flavia and the Domus Augustana, sites of the Palace of the Roman emperors, with splendid views of the valley of the Circus Maximus: guests for the occasion The Zen Circus, interviewed by Pierluigi Ferrantini. The episode will be visible on PArCo’s YouTube channel, starting Friday, April 24, with special content and extras on PArCo’s other socials and Radio2’s socials. The guest of the second episode will be Clavdio, who will begin his visit from the slopes of the Palatine Hill on Friday, May 8.
