The initiative parallels other actions of the #leogoesto project, which also includes a social campaign carried out with the “personification” of eleven historical characters of MuDEV, who come to life interacting with each other on the MuDEV Facebook page, as well as on the museum system’s Instagram account. These interventions were made thanks to a grant from Fondazione CR Firenze following the Cultural Laboratories call for proposals.

They are a series of posts, conceived by the editorial staff of the magazine Finestre sull’Arte, characterized by timeless graphics and content. The eleven characters(Leonardo da Vinci, the Boccaccio, Benozzo Gozzoli, Indro Montanelli, the Pontormo, Becuccio Bicchieraio, Tommaso da Firenze, Lorenzo di Piero Sartori, Amedeo Bassi, but also a peasant from the Padule di Fucecchio marsh and the Arno itself) were chosen to characterize MuDEV as a museum system linked not only to traditionally understood cultural heritage, but to the whole territory, with its ecosystem and history: historical figures thus dialogue to raise awareness and promote visits to the museums of Empolese Valdelsa.
