Auctions Dec. 2-8: Louvre sale, Impressionists at Sotheby's

In the new installment of our auction column we will discover the most interesting proposals for the week of December 2 to 8.

Pandolfini will hold from December 2 to 16 the timed auction Ceramics. Maiolica and Porcelain from the 16th to the 20th century offering ceramic plates and tankards from all over Italy. Thursday, Dec. 3 at Finarte will be the appointment with the auction Grafica Internazionale e Multipli d’Autore, which includes among its items drawings and graphics by authors such as Carla Accadi and Valerio Adami. Blindarte is organizing the 96 auction titled Furniture, Porcelain, Nativity Sculptures, Antique Paintings and 19th-20th Century Paintings that, on Monday, Dec. 7, will offer for sale items such as a bust made by Gemito Vincenzo, porcelain items, frames and antique real estate. Ansuini will hold the Fine Arts and Fornitures auction at 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 that will offer for sale works of art and furniture.

Moving abroad, we find two interesting auctions at Christie’s, both scheduled from Dec. 1 to 15: the first is Together for Children | #SparkleTogether Sale that offers jewelry for sale and whose proceeds will go to the Together for Children charity; the second is Bid for the Louvre - Contemporary art, unique luxury pieces and once-in-a-lifetime experiences in which the Louvre Museum is offering as many as 24 items for sale.

Many auctions are offered by Sotheby ’s including LoveEMC Charity Auction, a charity auction held in collaboration with the charity Every Mother Counts (EMC) taking place Dec. 1-7, 19th & 20th Century Sc ulpture which, from Dec. 2-7, offers sculptures from the 19th and 20th centuries for sale, Impressionist & Modern Art | Paris, an auction held Dec. 1-10 all dedicated to Impressionist and modern artists such as Paul Signac, Joan Miró, Henri Manguin and Armand Guillaumin, Art Contemporain Day Sale which, Dec. 2-11, sells works by artists such as Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Nam June Paik, Takashi Murakami, A. R. Penck, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Victor Vasarely, and Fine Jewels an auction to be held Dec. 4-11 to sell jewelry by established names such as Cartier, Bulgari, and Tiffany.
