Auctions Aug. 9 to 15: contemporary art, photography and jewelry

There are few auctions these days: the Italian houses are practically all closed for vacations but there are still a few bargains. Here is what we managed to find for the week of August 9 to 15.

We remind you that Cambi has scheduled the Photography auctions, open until Sept. 1, and 19th- and 20th-century Works, which will run until Sept. 5.

Bolli & Romiti still has the Rewind and More XII auction scheduled through Aug. 30, selling items such as clothing, sculpture, and lamps.

At Christie’ s there are the auctions Jewels Online: Summer Sparkle (through Aug. 17) and Tales of the City: New York Prints and Photographs of the Early 20th Century (open through Aug. 18).

At Sotheby’s we highlight the auctions Grails: Property from an Iconic Digital Art Collection Part IV, open through Aug. 18, and Má»™ng Viá»…n Đông | The Faraway East: of Dreams and Pursuits, which will open Aug. 14-17.

From Bonhams are Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection on August 9 and August Americana | Bonhams Skinner on August 13.
