Auctions April 14-20: modern art, clocks and books

Here we are at a new installment of our column devoted to auctions. Here are the ones we will find from April 14 to 20.

Pananti has scheduled Works on Paper: drawings, paintings and prints from the 15th to the 19th century on today’s day, Books, Manuscripts and Autographs for tomorrow, and The Charm and Elegance - A journey through the best Italian and French Wines for April 20 and 21.

At Wannenes there is an online Watch auction running until April 27 selling a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, a Vacheron Constantin pocket watch and a Cartier pocket watch.

At Farsetti ’s there is the Jewelry and Watches auction that runs through April 20 and the Rugs auction that ends April 21.

Two auctions at Cambi: POPUP DESIGN, scheduled for April 20, and Photographs, which will run until April 28.

Finarte has the Modern and Contemporary Art auction in store for April 15, featuring works by artists such as Pompeo Borra, Angelo Savelli, and Mario Tozzi.

Scheduled for April 15 is Bertolami ’s Archaeology: from Prehistory to the Middle Ages auction with a selection of archaeological literature selling ancient figurines, vases and other ancient relics.

Boetto will hold the Modern and Contemporary Art auction on April 20: the first appointment is for 3 p.m., with works by artists such as Giorgio Morandi and Mario Sironi, while the second appointment is scheduled for 5 p.m. with works signed by Mauro Reggiani and Achille Perilli.

Maison Bibelot has scheduled the Antique Books auction from April 15 to 27 and the Art Books auction from April 15 to 28.

Three auctions at Christie’s: on April 14 there is Oeuvres modernes sur papier / Art Impressionniste et Moderne, and on April 15 there will be The Collection of Mrs. Henry Ford II: Eaton Square and Turville Grange and Prints & Multiples.

Lots of auctions at Sothesby’s: on April 15 there is Magnificent Jewelry, on April 18 there is ICONS: Masterpieces from across time and space, on April 19 there will be Contemporary Art Evening Sale, while on April 20 we will have Contemporary Art Day Sales.
