There is time until July 24 to apply for the 68th diploma course of the School of Higher Education and Study of theIstituto Superiore per la Conservazione e il Restauro, one of Europe’s leading centers for the restoration of works of art. The course is equivalent to the single-cycle master’s degree in conservation and restoration of cultural heritage (LMR/02) and is reserved for twenty students, divided equally between the two campuses of Rome (ten places) and Matera (another ten places). There are entrance tests aimed at verifying the candidates’ knowledge in historical-artistic and scientific subjects (chemistry, biology, earth sciences, physics). Also planned is a graphic test consisting of the graphic transposition of an artistic artifact, conducted through a black-and-white photographic reproduction.
