Specifically, those applying for the grant must submit a project that enhances the literary and philosophical-scientific profile of Raimondo di Sangro as well as the social and cultural context in which he lived and worked.
To be eligible for the call, one must be no older than 34 years of age at the deadline of the call (September 9, 2018), have completed a master’s degree or equivalent, not hold other scholarships or research grants, not be a doctoral student with a grant, and not be engaged in regularly paid research. The results of the selections will be announced on October 15, 2018, and the work on Raimondo di Sangro is due January 31, 2020.
The initiative stems from an agreement between the Sansevero Chapel Museum and the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies, which have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at the creation of educational pathways of excellence in areas of mutual interest, the implementation of higher education activities in the humanities, and the promotion of cultural exchanges in the field of scientific research, its communication and related educational activities.
