The first exhibition dedicated to Sári Ember at Galleria Campari


The first solo exhibition of Sári Ember, winner of the 2017 Campari Art Prize, opens May 23.

From May 23 to Sept. 9 there will be the first exhibition dedicated to Sári Ember (São Paulo, Brazil, 1985), a Hungarian artist and winner of the first edition of the Campari Art Prize, born in 2017 from the collaboration with Artissima on the occasion of the 24th edition of the Fair. Galleria Campari in Sesto San Giovanni will be the venue for the exhibition entitled “Since our stories all sound alike,” curated by Ilaria Bonacossa, director of Artissima, and Michela Murialdo.

The exhibition, the presentation reads, “presents a series of never-before-seen works in ceramic, stone and marble, whose features and forms evoke faces, busts and masks, creating a magical aura guardian of memories, lost identities and bearer of personal and collective stories.”



“Since our stories all sound alike” will be inaugurated on May 22 at 7 p.m. The exhibition can be visited during gallery opening hours: Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., every second Saturday of the month 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Evening openings 8 p.m. June 5; July 3; Sept. 11; Oct. 2; Nov. 6; Dec. 4.

To visit there are two options:
Option 1) Free visit, reservation required;
Option 2) Art&Mixology. Guided evening tour led by an art historian and a mixologist + cocktail experience. By reservation | €25 per person.
