Palazzo Strozzi ’s exhibition"The Sixteenth Century in Florence. Between Michelangelo, Pontormo and Giambologna," which runs until Jan. 21, 2018, has already exceeded 100,000 visitors.
It is an “unrepeatable and unique” exhibition that traces the Florentine sixteenth century through its great protagonists: the exhibition, curated by Carlo Falciani and Antonio Natali, closes the trilogy of reviews that began with Bronzino in 2010 and with Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino in 2014.
Also very successful were the collateral events in various places in the city and the region, with 1,800 participants in the lecture series, and the collaborations with the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio and the Great Cathedral Museum.
During the holiday season, the exhibition “The Sixteenth Century in Florence” will be open every day, including Christmas and New Year’s Day, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and every Thursday until 11 p.m.
