The contemporary at Poldi Pezzoli: the works of Anj Smith on display

From April 3 to May 12, 2019, the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan will host the exhibition Anj Smith. The Mountain of the Muse. The exhibition is part of Il contemporaneo al Poldi Pezzoli and is one of the initiatives organized by the City of Milan for Miart and Art Week.

Three works by the English artist (Kent, 1978) will be presented to the public for the occasion: three engravings and a personal reinterpretation of three plates, two vases and a trumeau (a double-bodied piece of furniture, the lower part of which consists of a chest of drawers with a riser and the upper part of a structure with two doors). These were made with the exclusive collaboration of Fornasetti, a historic Milanese design and decoration atelier.
