OnFriday, November 30, 2018, at 5:30 p.m., as part of the exhibition"The Young Tintoretto" in the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice, there will be a meetingentitled "A Novel Life: Tintoretto Narrated" led by Luca Scarlini, essayist, playwright and writer.

The narrative will proceed through the halls of the Venetian Gallery, dwelling on various works. Tintoretto is an artist who invites reflection, narrative plots: in fact, he has been narrated by writers, novelists and storytellers from all over the world, including Maurice Barrès. Theodor Fontane, Iris Murdoch, Thomas Bernhard, Neri Pozza, Melania Mazzucco and many others.



The appointment is part of a series of meetings held by leading scholars, art and entertainment historians with the curators, in order to explore themes and aspects of Tintoretto’s formation and work.
