Six Monet canvases from Houses of Parliament series reunited: major exhibition at Tate Britain this fall

Expected visitor boom for exhibition at London's Tate Britain that will investigate the relationship between the Impressionists and London during a tragic period.

Multitudes of visitors are already expected for the exhibition, which opens Nov. 2, 2017, and ends May 7, 2018, at the Tate Britain in London.

"The EY Exhibition: Impressionists in London, French artists in exile (1870-1904)" will feature more than a hundred works by Monet, Pissarro, Sisley, Rodin, Tissot and many others to tell the story of the connection between these artists and London, particularly during the period when France was devastated by the Franco-Prussian War.

They dedicated many of their works to the city of London during their “exile” in England; this exhibition will allow visitors to admire them up close.

Extraordinary and exciting news will be the exhibition of six canvases made by Monet from the Houses of Parliament series, brought together for the first time at this event.
