Until June 30 at the Diocesan Museum in Milan is the exhibition"Sibylline Masterpieces. Le Marche and the Places of Beauty."
Curated by Daniela Tisi and Vittorio Sgarbi and presented by the Museums of the Sibillini Museum Network, 56 works from the places in the Marche region affected by the 2016 earthquake made by great masters such as Perugino, Crivelli, Giaquinto, Spadino, Fortunato Duranti, Cristoforo Munari, Cristoforo Unterperger, Ignazio Stern, and Vincenzo Pagani are on display.
The exhibition is divided into five sections and aims to convey the communities’ strong ties to cultural and artistic heritage.
The works act as a trait d’union between the Sibillini Museums and the Marche region. The goal of the Sibillini Museum Network is to raise awareness and promote cultural heritage from historical, artistic, environmental and production perspectives.
