The exhibition The Cavallini Sgarbi Collection - From Niccolò dell’Arca to Gaetano Previati, underway at the Castello Estense in Ferrara, where part of the Cavallini Sgarbi collection, owned by art historian Vittorio Sgarbi who gathered it together with his late mother Rina Cavallini, is on display until September 2, 2018.
However, the exhibition will lose Guido Cagnacci’s Vanitas, which will leave on July 16 for Ajaccio, Corsica, where it will be on display at the Rencontres à Venise exhibition, and will instead be enriched by a painting by Gian Domenico Cerrini, known as Cavalier Perugino, a Madonna and Child datable to a period between 1650 and 1655.
