At the Palazzo del Duca in Senigallia it will be possible to visit the retrospective Robert Doisneau: le Temps Retrouvé from March 29 to September 2, 2018.
Visitors will be taken on a journey to discover the photographic activity of the famous French photographer Robert Doisneau: fifty shots depicting the themes dearest to him, such as children, the street, public places, everyday life, suburbs and the great protagonists of 20th century culture, including Picasso and Prévert.
The exhibition aims to highlight the contemporary nature of Doisneau, who despite appearances, planned and disguised a naturalness for the success of his images. And it also intends to emphasize the modernity of the artist, who was able to capture a moment of everyday life, which escapes the passage of time, and turn it into an icon, a symbol. In his photographs, it is mainly the inhabitants, the street and Parisian public places that are the active and not just passive protagonists.
The exhibition is sponsored by the City of Senigallia in collaboration with ONO contemporary art, Atelier Robert Doisneau and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi.
