The Boncompagni Ludovisi Museum in Rome will dedicate from May 11 to July 15, 2018 an exhibition to the art of Ferruccio Gard, one of the protagonists of the Italian Optical-constructivist line.
Curated by Lorenzo Canova,"Ferruccio Gard. Intrecci dinamici" will propose a dialogue between the collections of the Boncompagni Ludovisi Museum and Gard’s works: present will be a selection of his latest production and some abstract-kinetic sculptures.
The art of Ferruccio Gard (Vestignè, 1940) is characterized by the weaving of geometries and chromatic intersections, illusion and compositional rigor.
The Boncompagni Ludovisi Museum is expanding its interest in visual arts related to fashion and dress design.
Hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Mondays.
Free admission
