On display are more than four hundred artifacts from the most important Italian and foreign museums, including the Bardo Museum in Tunis, the Museum of Carthage and the National Museum of Beirut. Never-before-seen reconstructions and multimedia installations will help visitors understand the various aspects of the ancient city of Carthage for an exhibition intended to be characterized by the richness of the documents present and its chronological breadth. The story between Rome and Carthage will also be reconstructed, and in particular the decisive role of these two powers in the political dynamics and the Mediterranean basin.
