Milo Manara presents the second part of the graphic novel on Caravaggio in Arezzo

For the first time, the second part of Milo Manara ’s graphic novel recounting the life of Caravaggio will be presented in Arezzo at the Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea.
From October 13, 2018 to January 8, 2019, visitors will be able to preview nearly one hundred plates on the biography and events of Michelangelo Merisi.

The exhibition is curated by Claudio Strinati in collaboration with Claudio Curcio.

Two volumes were born in Italy, published by Panini:"La tavolozza e la spada" (2015) and"La grazia," which will be released in 2019.

On the occasion of the exhibition, the Uffizi Galleries lent"The Dispute of Christ among the Doctors of the Temple," a masterpiece by Bartolomeo Manfredi.

Manara, biographer of Caravaggio is a project of the Guido d’Arezzo Foundation and is produced in collaboration with the City of Arezzo, DIALOGUES Srls, COMICON.
