Marco Gualazzini’s exhibition Resilient was inaugurated at the halls of Forma Meravigli in Milan. The exhibition curated by Alessandra Mauro collects, for the first time in an exhibition, about forty photographs that narrate the reportages made by Marco Gualazzini in Africa from 2009 to 2018.
Resilience is the ability of a system to adapt to change; Marco Gualazzini in his work tries to witness how the African continent reacts to the problems and crises that plague it with an extraordinary and at the same time dramatic resilience. The images in the exhibition are the result of a long work of almost ten years that led the author to explore Africa in search of untold stories and events. Stories that no one would want to hear.
The exhibition is on view through March 24. Free admission. Hours: Wednesday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. For all information you can visit the official website of the FORMA Foundation.
