In Milan, the Bracco Foundation and theLa Rotonda Association present Tutte le ore del mondo (All the Hours of the World), Gerald Bruneau ’s photographic exhibition showcasing the author’s shots depicting the daily life of twelve Italian and multiethnic families in Baranzate, one of the most multiethnic inItaly (almost one-third of the inhabitants, 32 percent of the resident population, are foreigners), where different culinary traditions, languages of origin, and faiths are not only cultural elements peculiar to each ethnic nucleus, but become identity roots of a plural place.
There are 26 photographs on display depicting twelve Italian and foreign families whose children are the absolute protagonists. The exhibition itinerary is a narrative of the typical days of these children, from waking to sleeping, from playing to school. In order to better compare each family, their portraits are displayed in pairs consisting of one photo with an Italian family and one photo of a foreign family, so that a dialogue between different cultures can be initiated so that they can become carriers of values and knowledge for society.
The exhibition, which is part of the Kiriku - At School for Inclusion project, is on display in the spaces of the CDI - Italian Diagnostic Center at 20 Saint Bon Street until June 30.
