A world premiere arrives in Milan, from January 15 to March 20, 2022, at the Fabbrica del Vapore at the Spazio ex Cisterne, the first major exhibition of Geronimo Stilton, entitled Geronimo Stilton live experience. Journey through Time. The exhibition is designed as animmersive entertainment, fun and educationaladventure, where visitors will be involved in a compelling journey through history with a special mission: to save Geronimo Stilton. Special guides will also be involved: time rangers, who will accompany visitors through the exhibit through fun interactive games.

The storytelling is based on the Time Travel publishing series, which invites readers to reach distant eras and experience mind-blowing adventures; it is designed to engage children ages 4 to 12, schools and all generations of readers who have grown up with the adventures of the famous mouse.

Visitors will experience a compelling journey through time, with tests to overcome and puzzles to solve to learn while having fun, thanks to a scenic layout full of surprises, interactive games and the guidance of the Time Rangers. People will be able to explore the lost world of dinosaurs, the mysterious world of the ancient Egyptians, and the adventurous world of Treasure Island to arrive at the so-so end of the journey in the present.

The exhibition will make use of various technologies, such as Mapping (in the room dedicated to the Cretaceous, images and videos will be projected onto the surface of one or more objects, transforming them into displays. Combined with sounds and music, the mapping will give an immersive audio-visual narrative); Digital Signage (in each room, a digital display device will allow content to be controlled on ledwalls, touchscreens or mirror displays); Augmented Reality (in the room dedicated to ancient Egypt, tablets will create an overlay in the real world of digital, virtual and interactive elements).

Thanks to all these technologies, the exhibition space in the Fabbrica del Vapore will become a real Geronimo Stilton Experience Village: on the second floor will be developed the exhibition route divided into three scenic settings. On the ground floor, on the other hand, there will be a bookshop, an interactive area for the Time Quiz, an area dedicated to photographs at the “Viaggio nel Tempo” Gate, a room for didactics and events, and a space dedicated to Virtual Reality Moon VR- Geronimo Stilton Edition where Geronimo Stilton will accompany visitors to witness the Apollo 11 crew landing on the Moon precisely thanks to Virtual Reality, immersing visitors in 360° environments thanks to VR visors.

Ficcagenio Squitt, a scientist and friend of Geronimo, is working on a new project dedicated to the keys to time. While he is carrying out his studies, due to a malfunction the three keys open three portals causing dinosaurs, mummies and pirates to arrive in Topazia! Geronimo and his friends need a crew of travelers to help them solve the situation. So the visitors’ mission will consist of traveling through time with the Toponautilus left in Milan, solving challenges and finding the three keys to time to close the three portals and save Geronimo. Geronimo Stilton - always connecting with them from Topazia - will urge them to set off on the journey to find the keys of time in the Age of Dinosaurs, Ancient Egypt and then Treasure Island.

Throughout the duration of the exhibition there will be hands-on educational events such as the fossil and prehistory activity: a 30-minute Mini Paleolab that will be held every weekend and the 90-minute Paleolab Event educational workshop that will be held every first Sunday of the month.
