From May 5 to November 26, 2023, M9 - Museo del ’900 in Mestre will host the exhibition Rivoluzione Vedova, conceived and designed by Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova, promoted and organized by Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova and M9 - Museo del ’900 with curatorship by Gabriella Belli and installation by Studio Alvisi Kirimoto.

For the first time since its inauguration, the museum is choosing contemporary art as a tool to explore and interpret history. The initiative launches a cycle of biennial exhibitions, dedicated to protagonists of art history with high civil commitment who, at the same time, revolutionized the arts by changing rules and canons with original and innovative contributions. Like the art of Emilio Vedova, interpreter and witness of a constant topicality.



On display will be, among others, some fundamental works by the Venetian painter characterized precisely by the strong link with the dramatic events of his time, such as Diario partigiano, Diario di Corea, Praga 1968, Chi brucia un libro brucia un uomo, as well as the great cycle...in continuum, compenetrazioni/traslati ’87/’88 and the seven plurimi ofAbsurdes Berliner Tagebuch ’64.
