Keith Haring is coming to the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna!

From January 31 to February 25, 2018, the Pinacoteca will celebrate one of the most representative Americancontemporary art artists of the 20th century: Keith Haring (1958-1990). Not surprisingly, this exhibition was organized to pay tribute to the artist sixty years after his birth.

More than sixty works by Haring from prestigious public and private collections will be on display, many of them previously unseen by the general public.
The exhibition aims to acquaint visitors with his biography and artistic activity, inviting a collective reflection inspired by his social message.

Accompanying the exhibition will be"Party of Life. Keith Haring, a vision" events, performances and flash mobs organized with students and performers, as well as workshops and guided tours in Italian and English.

The exhibition is curated by Diana di Nuzzo and is organized by Contemporary Concept in collaboration with the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna, the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, the Istituto Artistico Francesco Arcangeli International School of Bologna, GVC Onlus, and NPS Italia Onlus.

Hours: Jan. 31 to Feb. 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Feb. 6 to Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Special opening for Art City’s White Night on Feb. 3 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets: 3 euros.
For the duration of the exhibition, presenting the “Party of Life” ticket allows access to the two venues of the Pinacoteca Nazionale with reduced tickets.
