"Kandinsky, the knight errant" at MUDEC in Milan.

From March 15, MUDEC in Milan will host an exhibition entirely dedicated to the genius of abstractionism: Russian artist Vasily Kandinsky

From March 15 to July 9, 2017, MUDEC - Museo delle Culture in Milan will host"Kandinsky, the Wandering Knight," an exhibition dedicated to Russian artist Vasily Kandinsky curated by Silvia Burini and Ada Masoero.

The works on display come from the most important Russian museums and are intended to take the visitor on a journey that, starting from the period of the artist’s formation, finally reaches the period of his artistic turning point that leads toabstractionism.

The exhibition is based on a project founded on the relationship between art and ethnography and on the metaphor of travel as a cognitive adventure, fundamental principles for Kandinsky and the main interest towards which MUDEC has always been inclined.
