A retrospective entirely dedicated to Mexican sculptor Javier Marín is on display until September 9, 2018 at MUDEC - Museo delle Culture in Milan.
Through thirty-six works created using various techniques and different materials, the most significant moments of his artistic career are presented to visitors.
Corpus, this is the title of the exhibition, recounts this Mexican artist through works with a strong emotional impact due to their size and grandeur; he is an artist whose roots are in the past and projected into the present.
Outside the museum, a bronze horse over seven meters tall welcomes visitors, introducing them to the retrospective. The work Cabeza Chico Grande was created for this occasion.
The exhibition is curated by Christian Barragán.
