Italiani al mare: manifesti 1949-1999, the exhibition we told you about in this article, moves to Fano, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, where it will open at 7 p.m. July 23 and remain open there until Sept. 29.
After its success in Lignano Sabbiadoro, where it was called Cinema in bikinis, the exhibition comes to Fano with the addition of an unreleased short film curated by Giuseppe Colangelo, premiered for the occasion, which traces the history of the genre thanks to an entertaining and varied succession of frames, trailers and interviews to revive with memorable scenes and jokes the atmosphere of Italian summers. But not only the beautiful season: the Marche stage, in fact, also devotes space to the more mournful and silent atmospheres of the winter sea, with some pieces referring to Federico Fellini ’s famous 1953 film I vitelloni.
Hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 9 to 11 p.m. From Sept. 1: Tuesday to Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Closed Mondays.
Free admission.
