A major monographic exhibition dedicated to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec will arrive from Oct. 17, 2017 to Feb. 18, 2018 at the Royal Palace in Milan.
More than 250 works, including 35 paintings, lithographs, etchings, and posters, from the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec in Albi, the Tate Modern in London, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the MASP (Museu de Arte de São Paulo), the Bibliotheque Nationale de France in Paris, and various private collections.
The exhibition will be developed in thematic sections to allow visitors to learn about the artistic aspects of Toulouse-Lautrec.
"Toulouse-Lautrec. The Fleeting World" is curated by Danièle Devynck and Claudia Zevi, is promoted and produced by Comune di Milano-Cultura, Palazzo Reale, Giunti Arte Mostre Musei and Electa, in collaboration with the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec in Albi and theInstitut national d’histoire de l’art (INHA) in Paris.
