On the occasion of Milan Pride Week 2019, the exhibition C’è tutt’un mondo is on view until June 30. From the Intransigent Courtyard to the Inclusive Universe, a group exhibition held at Milan’s Palazzo Castiglioni.
It is a photographic exhibition of 34 images by 16 authors differing in education, style and age but united by a gaze that knows how to rest on a reality that to racism, intolerance and fanaticism knows how to contrast the desire for openness and acceptance.
Among the authors present at the exhibition are: Elio Luxardo, Teresa Carreño, Christian Voght, Giuliana Traverso, Silvia Alessi, Fabrizio Garghetti, whose works go to investigate (each with a different technique) the human body. Giancarla Pancera, Raoul Iacometti, Zeno Bassani and Gaetano Morata prefer more concrete everyday shots that contrast with the dreamlike dimension of Franco Donaggio and Mario Lasalandra. Pietro Rovida, Silvia Amodio, Sergio Caminata and Lorenzo Salvatori, on the other hand, finally focus on portraits and who, with their images, have been able to capture glances, postures, attitudes and gender diversity, succeeding in conveying the strength of a world that has opened up to the new.
All works belong to Fondazione 3M, a permanent cultural institution for research and education, which manages the historic Ferrania photographic archive of more than 110,000 images.
The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
