From the National Archaeological Museum in Naples, the exhibition moved to the Semiottagono delle Murate in Florence, in collaboration with MAD - Murate Art District. A review that intends to pay tribute to great female personalities from the world of art, cinema and literature, all distinguished by a large S of Superman on their chests and all winking at the viewer.
Pictured are Peggy Guggenheim, Alda Merini, Lina Wertmüller, Frida Kahlo, Marina Abramovic, Maria Callas, Yayoi Kusama, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Thunberg and two new Superwomen created especially for the Festival.
The street artist collective intends to spread the message that superpowers are in each of us. Lediesis have decided not to reveal their identity, but on social media they have a nuteous following. Every time they post a work on their Instagram profile, the so-called streethunters start a real treasure hunt in search of Superwomen.
Also at the Florentine exhibition, there will be no shortage of urban interventions and the treasure hunt that has now become a must.
