Attributed to Andrea Mantegna ( Isola di Carturo, 1431 - Mantua, 1506) followinglast year’s exceptional discovery, recently restored and presented in London and Berlin, The Resurrection of Christ is now returning to its home, theAccademia Carrara in Bergamo, where it is the protagonist of an exhibition event entitled RE-M Mantegna.
The project includes, around Mantegna’s work, a multimedia and immersive visiting experience, “to daydream, meet and experience the great discovery of art,” the presentation reads. This is, the organizers are keen to emphasize, the first immersive multimedia proposal included in a museum itinerary: the project allows people to experience the places and moments of the “discovery,” to see Andrea Mantegna’s panel up close, to get to know it and observe it together with the many masterpieces in the Museum, where it will be welcomed.
For all information about the exhibition scheduled from April 25 to July 21, you can visit the official website of the Academy or the website dedicated to the exhibition itself.
